See some definite trends. Plenty of late teens early twenties. Only a handful of 30 somethings. A bigger group of us bunched up in the 40's. I'd guess the young guys are looking for a cheap fun car. 30 somethings move away to flash and more expensive stuff. 40ish and we start to appreciate cheap fun cars again.

I'm mid 30s. flash is overrated. i'd rather take mass transit and drink heavily.

+1. Driving in general can be overrated _if_ mass transit is available. Sadly its not here. :sadwavey:

I had you about 30, but wouldn't have guessed mid 30s.

It takes most of us longer to learn that life lesson.

This.

I swear to God I was 22 when I went to bed last night.

I wake up every morning and find out that my life is pretty much over. I have a nagging wife, a house note, a job I hate, and more credits added to my fun dynamic degree plan every semester.

I honestly have no idea how the last 6-7years have flown by so fast. I can't even think about it sometimes. It's not so bad really, and some of it will change when I finally graduate.

Only thing I've found that works well and keeps me going is to do absolutely every single thing I can TODAY.

By the time I go to bed I would have driven 4hrs (mostly curvies), gone to 3 classes, met up with 2 friends, studied for 8 hrs, made ~50 posts, kayaked with my daughter, gone to the gym, helped my wife with chores, read a book with my daughter and played around on the dry erase board with her, and if I'm lucky, changed the injectors in the car.

Just don't ever stop, and you'll never look back wishing you'd done more.

32 - didn't realize I was one of the old dudes around here until just now! The nice part about being old is having a little more ca$h to spend - I remember being broke in college and "saving up" to buy Eibach springs for my MKIII Supra.

I boosted my Miata at age 31, but had a twin turbo Supra at 21.

Looking at my life right now, What I'd give to wake up tomorrow and be 22 again. There would be some MAJOR changes happening that day. First thing I'd do is quit this job and return my happy ass to College. :vash:

Seriously, I could take a model of my life and do motivational seminars to get young kids shit in gear. "See what happens when you don't finish college?!"

Bout to turn 25 at the end of April....My life is about a third over if all goes well the rest of the time:giggle:

Ha I've got 8 years on you! I remember your Mom just like yesterday. She was a bit older than me...like Mrs. Robinson.

Ahhhh, the good ol' days. Please send her my regards and tell her, "oy! oy! oy!" for me, please.

I used to live for driving. To work. Wherever. Now I go 4 miles to the MARC train, take it into Union Station, and metro over to Silver Spring for work. I love it. No idiot drivers, no traffic jams, fed subsidy, not piling miles on my car.

It makes me appreciate my cars more when I'm driving a couple hours to golf, see the inlaws or whatever.
