It barely ever even gets to 30° where you live. In the south-western US (Arizona, New Mexico, parts of California) it is >40° every single day in the summertime.

Now, winter time is another matter entirely.

The 40+degrees on holidays (Egypt for instance), no probs. 30ish and not being able to dry after a shower , meh

Gotta agree with Oscar here. I thought 90f Chicago I left was hotter than the 110f it was in Vegas when I arrived when I was there a few years ago.

It's hot here, too. Like, walking in soup hot.

Braineack would be most uncomfortable. I'd imagine enough so that he would not say anything about it, but then post about it here when he got home.

Somewhere on the planet today it was 72F, 35% RH with a gentle breeze coming in off the ocean. And plenty of things to do, but nothing that needed doing.

death valley was like 129 a few weeks ago. the heat index brought the "Feels like" temperature DOWN more than 10 degrees. The heat index was like 117ish.

our heat index got to 110 last week. Last year it got to 121. (105 actual temp)

death valley's highest temp ever and estimated humidity may have produced a heat index of around 122.

But who really cares? Heat index has reached 155-160 in Saudi Arabia. I might put off building my shed in that weather. (I hammered on it some during our heat wave and it sucked).

I'm actually get more used to the heat, I've found myself outdoors a heck of a lot this summer and I'm not even really fretting these ridiculous hot days. It could also be because my office is around 60-65° and my core temperature is at hypothermic levels...


Also, Chrome is telling me that "a lot" is incorrect and I should use alot.

Even hotter/stickier today and I had to drill out 2 stuck bolts from my quick release hub. I couldn't be wetter even if I went for a swim now.

Posted my old ms2 for sale on the local wine/cheese forum, sold within the hour. Got rid of old sub frames that were in the way too. Ms3 ordered from rev, been a good day so far

The air conditioner makes exterior windows of both my house and truck fog up like a bathroom mirror after someone takes a shower because of the exterior humidity. Unpainted sheetrock becomes moldy quickly from the moisture in the air.
