I've got 6.4 liters in my truck, but you don't see me bragging about it.

Question

I don't know what we are talking about, but I have 4.0L, an 8,400 RPM redline, and ITBs because NA is Best!

Hey! You are standing on my 7.6 liter. It's a little wrinkled but it made 500ft/lbs. at 2900 rpm once. Show some respect.

Damn kids...

Dieseliters cannot be compared to gaseliters

^ Exactly

Still don't think making-out with a dude would be that great. (shrug)

Side Note: 18psi build thread is mildly amusing.

Wait. What? Are you saying your Firebird has a 7.6L petrol engine?

See signature. It's a great total package and the engine has its merits for sure, but also its drawbacks. Like the fact that it makes ~400 BHP but not even 300 torques.

A: That's not a Firebird. It's a GTO (or a dressed-up Tempest / Lemans.)

B: Yes, Pontiac offered a 455ci gasoline engine in that generation of the car.

I drove my friends '10 M3 with DCT, I never felt it lacking in low-end grunt. Is it an LS1? No. But the extra gear certainly helps it move around just fine.

Hell didn't some of the old FWD Cadillac's have 472/500ci engines?

Ding ding! Winner! '68 GTO with a '71 455 bored .060 over. Lotsa torque but doesn't breathe or rev enough to make big horse numbers. Shifts at 5200 rpm. She's a little rusty these days.

Yes, Cadillac built cars with 500cu in engines for several years. The V10 in the Viper is "only" 488cu in.
