I hate lamp.
I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I'm tired of having to pretend that I'm somebody who I'm not.
I promised you that I'd watch the "King Corn" documentary that you posted, and I forgot to transfer it to my tablet last night before I left work. It's there now, and I will watch it on the train this evening.

So my brother just put in his 2 weeks yesterday after working here his entire adult life. Jealousy and resentment got the best of him so now he's leaving. 3 weeks from now I'll be sole owner of the company and wont have the pressure of having him "grandfathered" in, forcing me into an unwanted partnership.
I'm a bit taken back by all of this, because its been a crazy busy and productive year for us. Which to me is a hell of a time to walk away from the family business, let alone your job in general. Ohh well, looks like I'm getting a truck and a raise.

I'm torn between hoping he does and doesn't. lol
He hasn't told me much as of yet, just that he's going to be driving a truck full time delivering ****. No fighting per say, just lots of opposition from him on every business decision I make. My father and I work together just about everyday and we get along fine. He's nothing less than thrilled with how the last 2 years have been and really that's all that matters to me.
My bro is mostly upset that I took over and I'm 18 years younger than him. He can't seem to move beyond that, so I guess this was the only answer in his mind. Little did he know I was planning on surprising him with a company paid motorcycle (within reason of course) for his 3_th year anniversary.

When I bought my store my brother wanted to work for me while he was going to flight school. I politely declined. I do not mix work and family together. I'm the youngest in my family and the others can't get over that fact...even though I'm the only one who has had a successful career so far.
Plus we are bull headed stubborn Italian bastards who are too competitive.
Hope it works for yah Vash, if anything taking the drama out of your life is going to be HUGE.

@JoeP
Do you remember that windshield stuff you posted somewhere on this site? It was sorta like RainX except it repelled mud and all sorts of other stuff...
I want to try it on my skylight at home here as well as my cars.
