How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways

They took away the old vending machines at work. Now instead of 25 cent sodas, they're 55 cents. Goddamnit!! Gotta get that extra little nickel from me? Screw you!
And the chips are now 75 cents, up from 50.
The new machines are bigger, taking up more space in the already-cramped breakroom, and they're uglier.
They don't have Nestea anymore!!!!!!
MOTHERFUCK!

Two thoughts:
1. 55 - 25 = 30 cents.
30 cents "that extra nickel"
2. Buy a three window candy machine on ebay for cheap, fill it with bulk candy, leave it in your break room, and use the change from your coworkers to buy your chips?

Extra 5 cents - As in why not just charge 2 quarters, versus me having to put in another nickel.
We're going to boycott the soda machine. The snack machine on the other hand, does have a much larger selection. My anger with the snack machine may have been in haste. It appears that the chip bags are larger. Wanna buy a full bag of microwave popcorn for $0.70?
I guess this is what you get when you work for a multibillion dollar global corporation.
Damn you Jeff!

We have a cafe in the bottom floor of my building....prices are OK and there is a minimum of $3.50 to use plastic...which is a problem when all I want is a muffin and a drink and don't carry cash. I end up just barely spending $3.50. They do have snack machines in the lounge down there which don't have the best selection and the drink machine is always on the fritz.
Meh, I'm looking forward to my interview with UPS this afternoon. Be nice to have a second job to add some cash to my income and UPS offers some damn good benefits.

ATLANTA (AP) -- Hit a bear in Georgia and you can take it home under a bill passed Thursday by the Legislature.
The bill, which is headed to the governor for his signature, clarifies that people who run over and kill bears or deer to keep the animals instead of turning them over to the state Department of Natural Resources. Sen. Don Thomas, R-Dalton, sponsored the bill after two bears were accidentally killed in his district.
While people will not have to notify DNR officials if they hit a deer, they will have to give notice within 48 hours if they hit a bear.
The Department of Natural Resources has typically mounted the bears and put them in museums, but Thomas says the agency does not need any more.

I forsee a business venture targeting a niche market for the new law- Creating MadMax-style bumper and brush guards that will impail the quarry to keep it from being flung off the side of the road or going underneith the car. Impailing the victim will also aid in transporting it home for processing.
