Thoughts? I'm leaning towards the diff, but my suspension right now is laughably bad (Bumpstopped racelands with stock sways)
How old are the ricelands?

Rumor has it that the Vmaxxxxxxxxxxxx's are just redressed and resprung ricelands, which is probably not true, but can anyone comment on this?

If you're suggesting I return them under warranty, I find that immoral.

Why? They rebuild them for you.

Oh, I see what you're saying; they're not broken, they just suck. They do their job fine for 200 dollar suspension, but that's exactly what it is - 200 dollar suspension.

You said they were on bump stops so I assumed that meant they were blown. Go consult the suspension hierarchy thread for how to spend yo monies.

Actually, I was just thinking about when the first DEC ALPHA processors came out in the early-mid 90s. They looked so damn impressive with those big threaded studs protruding out of the case for the heat sink to be bolted to. Everything about that chip reeked of pure power.

Nowadays, my phone has more computational power than the early Alphas, and my desktop i5 probably consumes more power and dissipates more heat.

... which is another interesting point. Am I wrong in observing that there seems to be a massively disproportionate ratio of power consumed to computing performance delivered as one compares the lowest end of the market (eg: ARM9, C7) to the highest end (i7, Phenom)?

Would "green" high-performance computing not be better served by large arrays of massively superscalar "low-performance" CPUs than by a smaller number of extremely high-speed processors? In other words, rather than a quad-core i7, what if you had a 64 core ARM? Some aspects of application development would be harder (try optimizing SolidWorks to run on 64 slow cores, for instance) but in other ways, I can see OS development becoming vastly simpler- take a cue from Parallax and just launch every new process on its own core, returning that core to an idle (power off) state when not needed?

I finally got home from VA. 1500 miles on the new built motor and Absurdflow setup with no major problems. I am very happy.

Default Mini Poll: Idea's needed.

Ok. I am painting my intake manifold. I need some ideas, suggestions, felch, opinions on what I should do or what you think would be good.

Only rule: DO NOT SAY, "POLISH IT DUDE, LIKE UBER TIGHT YO!" I hate the polished look and I hate polishing. But I don't hate it as much as every one telling me to polish it. I can't stand polishing or the look or plain aluminum.

I pulled all my intercooler piping and painted it wrinkle black. I even pulled the connector piece that FM uses in their cold side silicone piping and painted that black too.

Paint it wrinkle red to match the VC. Also is your intercooler painted black?
