Funny how such a simple shape can be used to make people go crazy...like catnip to cats. I agree with you though.

It bothers me that god/religion can be used to persecute people for things that are completely up to the person's own self doing, whether is be choices about what they do on Sunday, how they spend their money or what they enjoy doing in their personal time. It hurts me that my friends are afraid to experience life because they have had the bible shoved down their throat for the past 20 years. It makes me sick to my stomach that my friend was left in a ditch for 9 days and fed scraps because her PARENTS felt it was necessary treatment for someone who wants to descend from Islam.

I can go on, but I am stopping here. That cross is nothing of importance and should be removed.
Bingo. I can't say how sick I am of **** like the Southern Christian Coalition suck various politician **** in order to get issues passed or tossed based on the moral weight of such issue and if it's for or against one's religious practice. I also disagree with public government buildings being used as extentions for churches (like my high school is used for the neighboring church on Sundays because they are over capacity). I've grown up with a complete lack of religion and thus have no moral commitment to one belief or another, but I do know the difference between right and wrong and how to be nice to my fellow man (when I want to be)....does that make me evil? To some it does, which is a sad fact. Using religion as a crutch is such bullshit. I believe that many of these religious groups are the reason our contry makes a bigger deal over gay marrage then the rights of everyone in general and those who have been violated since 9/11 and fixing our own budget. Yes, if these wackjobs who push and get all up in arms about the gays getting married would focus their energy on things that really matter, it would benefit everyone and not just their selfish asses. That is just one example to me...I could go on and on as well.

And Scott, yes, using the Bible to barter vs. .5oz of naturally growing substance is worse...at least marijuana is a fact that can be see, felt and explained....and isn't a fictional book

Some Christians are ******** and hypocrites and some atheists are ******** and hypocrites and some Muslims are ******** and hypocrites and some Jews are ******** and hypocrites and some ******** are hypocrites. I'm thinking it's a human condition and not a religious one.

COMPLETELY out of place... does anyone know anything about the Honda R series engines from the newer Civic? All aluminum 1.8 with 10.5:1 compression. Seems like it might be a decent engine. I've been out of the Honda scene since before the K series stuff, so I'm far out of my element.

Wait who is giving out pot to get votes? Of schwagg locally, .5 grams costs about $2.50. If I could buy votes for that cheap I would.

University of Texas or Portland State. UT has a great geology program, but is harder to get into and living in Austin is a notch below living in Portland. Where I'll be in 2-3 years is still up in the air. My priority right now is to get to 30 cr. hours to be a transfer student.
