I wouldn't know anything about that..

All I know is, the Dollar seems to be raping the Euro these days.. So watch out for the currency exchange.

These people at my new place of employment have some ******* nerve. I went in today, and they sent me home. They told me to go home, all this week, and relax! Then they said they were going to pay me for the entire week! As soon as I crawl out of bed sometime tomorrow afternoon, I'm going to call them and let them know what I think about this!

Minus working Christmas eve, I haven't worked since Tuesday. Have 2 days half days of work this week, and another 4 days off. Then off to Maryland for 5 weeks of really no responsibility. Really excited about these next few weeks. I will soon know if I can purchase an *** ton of car parts as well.

I've been off since Wednesday, so I've had a pretty decent little break. I hope to buy a new car soon, not parts. My Miata is a ******* joke for any form of road driving. It's now only suited for a gutting and full overhaul.

The guy who made the decision to have us all come in to work this week didn't show up yesterday. I haven't checked to see if he's in today either. While driving in with zero people on the road was nice, there were quite a few of us here a little annoyed.

We don't do Christmas around here, but my birthday happens to be on New Year's eve.
Sooo, a cargo delivery truck pulled up by our place today.

My wife insisted I should stay in the house while she went out to sign for the package, and then promptly presented me with a Logitech G27 wheel.. Early B-day gift!

I haz happies.

Computers lost me at "peek and poke", although DOS made some sense. I thought you were referring to the military term:

Aah, a Commodore guy.

I suspect that foo and bar did evolve from the original Army fubar, in much the same way as kluge / kludge (in American old Hackish) and bodge (in the King's Hackish.) Today, Foo and Bar have an entirely seperate meaning, though.

Can any of you Lords of the MegaSquirt convince me to jump off the cliff and build an MS3x? This is the next step in my progression as a man, but I'm scared. I don't know the first thing about this stuff, and "just doing it" is probably the way to learn, right?

There's really nothing to build with a MS3X setup. It's really just splicing in the wires.
