I bet your interesting conversations from the lance nutstrong crowd stem from the fact that they are not interested in purchasing your aesthetically challenged electric conveyance.

I'm surprised I was that coherent, given how much I'd had to drink.

MT bro's, I need some ideas.

I bought a new CXracing ebay special intercooler. It's surprisingly decent and the dimensions are correct, however, the endtanks are 2" inlet/outlet and not 2.5" as advertised.

Option 1) send it back and wait gawd knows how long to see if they can get it right a second time.

Option 2) take intercooler to local fab guy and have him weld on new inlet/outlet pieces from scrap aluminum pipe I have in my garage.

How bad do you need it? If it can wait I'd send it back and call and bitch if it's taking too long to get the right one back.

You know I think you're right. I sent them an email saying I'm sending it back tomorrow. No sense in hacking it up and being at the mercy of what the fabricator feels like he should charge me.

More importantly, I measured it against the car and realized that I have more room than I thought (even with the a/c) and the next step up in size is only 13 bucks more.
