^^^^^^

Unfortunately not so.

Looks like I have to pay income tax both in NY and CT.

Not much. $2500 on a scratch off. Good thing I put $1000 in a separate account for this exact reason. Everyone else told me "ahh nah man that's too much, they ain't gonna charge you that much in tax".

I won $20 on a scratch off once, perhaps one day I'll get the big money :-(

no, it's a harmless vice that could actually provide one with a hell of a return.

there are people who have figured out how to game the lottery by buying tens of thousands of dollars in tickets and almost guaranteeing a big profit off it. has something to do with buying enough tickets to exceed the odds of getting 5 numbers or something. and there's special times of the year when they are more generous or something. I can't find the article but it was pretty awesome.

I buy lotto tickets every now and then for the hell of it. I don't expect to win and I don't use money I need for other stuff. If I win one day, I'll buy you and Scott new homes.*

*I will also have nannycams installed throughout your new homes so I can rub my ween raw to the sight of you bros cooking.

Too busy to stop and find the article now, but there's some lady that has hit the lottery 4 or 5 times. I think 2 or 3 times for a relatively small amount ($20k or less), and twice for a big chunk (more than a million).

Oh, and it turns out she's a mathematician or something like that.

I'm totally confused on what I'm doing wrong. I was fighting tooth and nail to get under the SM qualifying time last weekend, and just barely did it on the last session. I can't seem to get a reasonable critique on my driving from videos, and I'm totally confused. I'm going to sign up for the beginner group at the next gay-dude driving school. Unfortunately I have to run street tires so that's a huge expense I have to deal with.

Want to feel like even more of a beta male? Go read Mark Donohue's
The Unfair Advantage The Unfair Advantage
.

The first time I drove the car with the motor working the way it should, I came in and said, 'Boy, this is one strong mother!' None of the Germans were familiar with the term, so I had to explain that it meant 'very, very powerful.' From then on they used the expression quite a lot without knowing its real derivation. They asked me if it had enough power then, and I said, 'No. It will never have enough power until I can spin the wheels at the end of the straightaway in high gear.' They were aghast at that. They had never seen motors put out even as much power as we had. As they reached 800 horsepower, they literally burned out one of their dynamometers.

By the end of the year, the five-liter engine was up to 880 horsepower, and the best 5.4-liter engine in 1973 was eventually good for 1190 horsepower. All the time they kept asking, 'Now does it have enough?' And I kept saying, 'I still can't spin the wheels all the way down the straightaway.'"

I am pretty sure buffon01 just sent me a text asking me what type of gasket maker to use on the VC gasket, and then where to buy it at.
