I'm right there with you. My GF is great but my job is ending, not sure if I want to go down the entrepreneurial track, get an Oracle cert, or what. I'm not even going to the gym anymore, just drinking 1/3 bottle of booze every night with my cat.

Does he have any legitimate workplace authority over you? If not, just tell him you're not interested in talking to him any more. Better yet, make the request in writing so when he continues to harass you, there's a record.

At least someone wants your company when you're at home....all I get are cats piling up on me when I sit down.

Hussie - We have a couple "ex law enforcement" guys that come by the shop every now and then. One I even work with sometimes because he has his own concrete pumping business.

I usually ignore them when they talk and let everything go in one ear and out the other. They arent tuff, but they want to be. Therefore, they dont bother me. If they were actually "tuff" and talking ----, then we'd have a problem.

Otherwise they eventually go away after everyone's had a earful of their boasting. I'll join in on the most boring conversation going on at the moment JUST to avoid having to listen to the clown.

Doppel - The BEST thing you can do is remove the cats from the home. See, women like men that act like men. Real men dont cuddle up on the couch with cats. Although a women may be accepting of this initially, she will eventually grow tired of it.

If your having issues now in your current "relationship" then that's proof enough. If you end up single again and start dating, kiss any serious chance at a women goodbye. You'll become that guy that sits at home with his cats at night. At that point you may as well start going to the gay bars and taking the cats with you.

He probably cries himself to sleep at night because he's too tuff to admit that he's really a homosexual and picks on you because he thinks you're cute.

I advised him of his lack of authority, he really liked that. I'm not really concerned, but its so absurd that I have to post about it.

I think this is one of those great examples where ex-law enforcement badass thinks he gets to tell the guy in the little Miata what to do. Imagine if you walked from you office to another department and ask, "DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM!?!?!?!" You'd be fired. Not here of course, this is the Federal government...we apparently have extremely low standards.

No they just can't fire people, except apparently for you if you don't want to move. I am still going with ---- moving. I do not think you could live anywhere but Texas.

If you play tour cards right and do things by the book you may be able to aet yourself up for a lucrative lawauit.

Well. I may have re-injured my freshly healed, broken ---- of a hand. Working with my bro and dad can get crazy sometimes, and 7am this morning once things got heated I took 3 shots at the solid metal door. 3 hard shots.

Now my middle finger has a ski slop drop to it and I have a feeling something inside is no good. We dont have much for medical supplies, so there's no ice or advil to take. Thankfully I had 2 bandages left to stop the bleeding.

I wish there was a way I could have a rational thought before I swing at ----. Like "last time this happened I had $20k worth of surgery.....maybe I shouldnt". With no insurance either I cant really afford to go have it looked it, so hopefully its ok.

I will not hit solid objects.

CAS fell out of the daily today, the alignment bolt thingy backed-out. That sucked, I could not get the teeth in the groove for about 30-minutes, and it was 35* and windy. Fail fail fail.

Hitting a solid object in frustration or anger once is understandable, especially for young males. Doing it after you messed up your hand is just plain retarded. You need to learn to relax.

Anger management, dude. Next time throw a wrench at the metal door. Actually, scratch that, with your luck it'll bounce straight back and impale you between the eyes.

At home or on the road? Last time I did that job I quit trying to realign it after 15 frustrating minutes and just pulled the VC. Much easier*.

*Except for the fact that an unnamed party carried a bag of soil across the garage, unwittingly dumping a couple handfuls of dirt into the valve cover which was laying upside down.

Yeah I know. Unfortunately I havent felt "relaxed" in a long time.

Everything is 100mph around here and just a lot going on at all times. So I'm burnt out physically AND mentally, then something happens and its like instant rage. Even if I'm by myself I'll ------- hit something for no reason. I always regret it afterwards though.

Maybe I should look into some local MMA. Either knocking the ---- out of someone (legally) or getting my *** beat on a regular basis may do me some good. lol
