I can't argue that.

Woo. A good birthday gift coming up. My poor Miata is finally going to get new paint. I was just going to do plastidip, but I just wasn't thrilled with the idea.

Hakan, have you checked the idle dashpot settings?

Yes, I have. Unfortunately, I have nothing at hand to establish a baseline with. In other words, I was afraid of messing with the settings.
Work is just killing us these days. I will spend some proper time on the car and take a log and post it here as soon as the work clouds part over here.

And, thank you for taking an interest in the idle woes of an emerging market Miata enthusiast.

You need a wood chipper for that pile.

The truck is a full on box truck with a hydraulic shredder inside of it. The guy came, but the hydraulics were acting up so he had to leave and try to find a nearby place to repair it.

Cant. Too busy selling old bottles I pulled out of the ground on one of the last jobs we did.

The brazilian guys thought I was crazy to pick through the dirt and take them. That was until I told them if they helped I'd pay for bacon eggs and coffee. lol

If you find any cool liquor or spirits bottles (whisky, gin, bourbon, etc - not beer/soda/wine/milk), let me know.

I have 2 Piccadilly Club bottles (1 green, 1 amber), some other whiskey bottles I haven't gone through yet and even some jugs!

In total I have 170ish bottles from the site!

Here's a few pictures of the ones I lightly cleaned.

Brazilian's love their coffee. I'll never forget one of the factories I toured where I counted more espresso machines than water stations on the factory floor. When working down there, we would take several coffee breaks during the day. After lunch everyone in the office would go brush their teeth. Then there was the ladies ......

Ahhh, I miss Brasil.

So gays, I have some news...

A good friend of a close friend of mine is building a drift and autocross track in buttfuck nowhere (lovelock) Nevada.

I was also invited to a certain "event" on May 3rd to the 5th...

I also don't knock EVERYTHING before I try it first hand. I have been to events as a spectator and it seemed stupid to me...

Things i need to do this month

-RTV the annoying mini leaks on my oil pan and P/S.
-Buy some cheapo tires and maybe some cheap steel wheels
-buy a 32GB micro SD card
-charge up the gopro hero 3
-find my ole auto-x helmet

Pen2's going doriftoing in may. Free track time for me through friends, might as well do something about it.

Vids to follow.

...probably good ole MT hate as well.

I bet doing it well ends up being harder than you think it will be.

I can't wait for this car to get aligned tomorrow then tracked flawlessly...so I can ******* park it and disengage for a minimum of 3-months. I'm so ******* burnt out that I just bought a bicycle and plan to ride it for a few months without a care in the world.

No disaster. It just never stays simple.

You start out saying "Oh, a bicycle. How nice."

Next thing you know, you've got a motor and a battery on it.

And then you say "This would be better if it was faster," so you add more batteries.

And then you blow up the main battery and say "You know, this would be a good time to upgrade to an even more powerful motor, and a much higher voltage battery. You know, one that you can weld with."

Pretty soon you're zipping up hills at 30 MPH, passing olympic-level cyclists like they were standing still. And you get to thinking "This is nice and all, but I wonder what would happen if I picked up a cheap, lightweight supermotard frame and stuck an even bigger motor and the mother of all batteries into it?"
