I was driving through my neighborhood in my A6 and lightning struck a tree about 20 feet in front of me. I bet the Miata would have rattled apart if I was in it.

Actually, the small one only has 450, or just a tad more than a pack of PopTarts...or twice as much as some of those Jumex drinks (some of which have nearly 50g of sugar in a single can...

I'm just giving you a hard time. There are days I really miss smoking.

I once had a very old gentleman (ancient actually) tell me in a bar as we're watching a pretty good Beatles cover band "Don't drink, don't smoke, eat healthy...and live a LONG and BORING life."

Doesn't always apply, and there are lots of facets to the argument, but it's a decent, simple justification for many of our vices. If you don't actually get enjoyment, or aren't able to see benefit from healthy living, then just live, and expect to pay for it.

Oooooooooooo this is a good discussion. We have a 7K+ thread about this single debate on another forum.

Who's down to debate about this?

It's a rare morning when I have breakfast. Today it was a banana and a Fanta strawberry (this can will last me about 4 hours as I sip on it..not chug it). Only smoke 4 cigs yesterday...which is my average...sometimes it goes up to 6 or 7 if I am hanging out with friends or drinking.

5'11" @156 :/

I need to get into some kinda shape...sitting on my *** at a desk job is killing my motivation....but using the stairs to hike my *** up to the 10th floor (200 stairs) should start doing something for me.

Can I go to tech school to be a quantum mechanic? Regular mechanics have a bad rep in general.

I <3 my job. They pay me to work out for up to an hour every day. I'm going to do a commercial, in the spirit of bowflex:

"I'm 26, and I'm in the best shape of my life!"

6'2" @ 188

I guess that's not a huge statement though...

I've always wondered about those commercials. So how long do you have to workout exactly? As in number of months. Some of those guys go from being 250 with the muscle mass of someone who is 120 to a lean 190 by working out for just 20 minutes a day, three times a week. I call bullshit.

Just to follow up, I can now confirm that a flat-head screwdriver is all that's necessary to bust open the locking gas flap on a 1st gen Tacoma.

Drive home, nearly on empty. Try my wife's key that we had made right after I bought the truck a few months ago, still no luck. Sprayed the help out of the lock with that white graphite stuff, still nothing.

I'm about 10 minutes away from crowbarring that sonovabitch open and replacing the lock mechanism with a bigass magnet to keep the door closed (improves fuel mileage and cures arthritis too).

Drove over a big chunk of steel in the road yesterday and had a blowout. Road hazard for the win! Waiting two hours at good year the next morning FTL.
