^ NYC pizza is, in fact highly variable. Lots of places serving mediocre pies (including Ray's), but even the worst NYC slice beats anything I've ever had from Papa John's.
The good stuff is in Brooklyn, and uptown on the west side.

I just realized that I have issued $4.3 million worth of purchase orders in the past 12 months. (******* accountants...) And I signed every last one of them with the pen that @rleete made for me. That's the sole function for which I reserve that pen. It is my "here is a bunch of money, you better ******* deliver on your promise" pen.
I am not nearly enough of a mature adult to be trusted with this ****. I mean, the last contract I signed literally included the phrase "Just promise me you won't flood the building, start a fire, or kill anyone.". Not kidding. That was actually signed and notarized.
It should be noted that the company in question did, in fact, set Willis Tower on fire about three months ago. In my transmitter room. It was a small fire and we extinguished it quickly, but still...

Had a fun weekend with the car. Put in new seatbelts since the stock belts are AIDS. Tightened all the panel bolts. Fresh insulation. Rollbar back in and mounted. Swapped out the stock fuel filler neck hoses to eliminate the gas smell....then I threw the P0445 the next day. That sucked, but the car drives fine, so it's probably the stock gas cap.
Then that night we got a lot of rain...a lot. Garage flooded. Made a quick jack-move and got the car out just in time.

You are correct. We've been getting hammered and the worst of it is supposed to be Saturday.
Really sad considering some people on my street are still having to use blue tarps on their homes.

We just had a landscape engineer show up yesterday so work on a completely new, gravity fed drainage system. Hopefully getting it started next weekend.

We made out with 4 floods and a total of 14.7 (iirc) inches of rain for the month of May. Now it's hurricane season! Yay!
