The stupid thing is ebay says you have to wait 4 days before you can file a non-paying buyer report. So even though she is saying flat out she won't pay. I have to wait 4 days.

But I'm about to call ebay and talk to some foreign guy who doesn't give a **** to see if I can work something.

If it was me I'd just re-list it. **** dealing with a nutcase like that.

BTW, she is correct about one thing. Seller's no longer can leave negative feedbacks. Been this way for awhile now.

Also, after having a nightmare transaction with a guy over a set of Nissan Armada springs I quickly learned that stating "No returns accepted" means dick.

I wasted hours upon hours on the phone with PayPal and UPS going back and forth over the transaction. This guy didnt like the ride quality of the springs and opened a PayPal case against me. I explained to PayPal that used aftermarket parts are always sold as is, anywhere. That I am not responsible for him not liking the ride quality, I am not the manufacturer. After little debate PayPal won the case in his favor and he shipped back the springs. Lucky for me the client I was selling them for moved, so the package went back to the buyer. Shipping was almost $50, so I knew he wouldn't ship them again and so did the rep from PayPal. We conference called UPS and they said they cannot intercept due to the business moving. PayPal refunded him and in the end refunded me as well. They actually ate the $300 transaction.

Ebay can be terrible and great at the same time. It depends on how you let them shuffle you around.

The cheaper transactions are the usually the ones I have issues with. I've had buyers send $2000 instantly to my PayPal account with ZERO communication before or after. I ship the items and send an email or two, but some people just don't let you know how you did either way.

Well I called ebay. The Indian guy said no matter what, even though she stated clearly that she will never pay me, I have to wait 4 days to file a complaint. Kinda bull ****, but okay ebay, you win.

I'm going to see if I can do the second chance offer thing.

... ******* seriously!? Why the **** would my drivers license be suspended because of a goddamn FTA that has already been taken care of. I'm supposed to surrender my license to the local court within 30 days, if not another $50 will be pinned on the $100 reinstatement fee. So I'm supposed to go without a license until my court date on Oct. 6. This **** is ridiculous! I feel like this is the poor local city court trying to drain me for every penny it can.

I mean, ****. I understand it was my fault, but people make mistakes. You would think the court would have had mercy in the first place, being it's my first and only offense, and a very minor one at that. Still had to turn myself in for a warrant, got it taken care of, now they want my license. More ******* fees to pay, that I cannot afford. And if my local court allows early settlement, I will have additional fees on top of the court fees because I settled before my court date. But I have to hurry up if I want my license reinstated sooner. I have to have a car, I can't get rides everywhere. **** this *** backwards hick city, county and state. I cannot wait to get the **** out.

On top of that ****, I just remembered where the **** I work, at a dealership. I have to have a goddamn license.

Hey, Vash, FRT, and co, eBay question.

Seller sent me a rebuild kit he claimed was Genuine Garrett. It pretty clearly is not a genuine Garrett. Actually, the kit isn't even the same as the pictured kit - the kit in his picture is a Garrett rebuild kit, the one he sent isn't. Any illuminating advice?

Make a claim on PP that the kit was not as described.

Try and work it out with him first. Tell him the item is not as described and you'd like to send it back for a full refund. Ask him to send you the shipping label to send it back. If he says anything other than yes, open the claim.

I usually give the all sellers the benefit of the doubt before going and making a PayPal claim. Only because I know what its like to have a buyer not give me a chance to make it right.

Dear ,

We also have garret rebuild kit in our shop
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Genui...item3f0dae792f

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Genui...item415d1b1106

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Genui...item415d1b110f

We will state "gnuine" in the title of genuine item. We didn't state thtt it is genuine in the title of the kit you buy, therefore it's not
genuine item.

Best regards
Art
Seems shady to me, especially considering that they pictured a genuine rebuild kit and the listing ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Garre...item3f0d3d3a96 ) had Garrett plastered all over it. Would you recommend continuing to give him a chance to work it out, Vash, or not? (Edit) Actually, as I look at the description, one or two of the advertised items are not even included.

File a claim on that bitch if he isn't going to work with you. I would have bought it thinking it was genuine. It says genuine a few times.

Yeah, there's a catch. You have to open the package to find out it's not a genuine Garrett kit. He refuses returns on opened packages. eBay dispute time.

As per Vash's recommendation, I'll offer them to deal with it and get positive feedback, or open a dispute and negative.

That return policy made me laugh.

"1. If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, we accept returns, exchanges, or replacements 7-14 days after you received the package from us, however, the goods have to be in good condition and unused. Please note, unless the product is faulty, it must be returned at your own expense, the cost of which will be deducted from your refund. Upon receipt, the product will be inspected and a refund will be processed within 30 working days. If the product is found to be in an unreasonable condition, we reserve the right not to accept it. Nickel Sport is not responsible for any shipping charges."

Its hard to say man. I usually try and give people the benefit of the doubt, but that's assuming they're one of the good guys. This particular seller is now claiming that unless it reads "GENUINE", that it is in fact NOT, even though it has Garrett all over the listing.

That would be considered a schemer **** that should have all his listings pulled until they are revised properly to read "not genuine garrett rebuild kits" somewhere in the listings, as to not mislead any further buyers.

I'd let him know you'll make a **** storm of a mess on him if he doesn't refund the money and send you a shipping label. At this point I'd say its fair to file a claim, just because of the response you got back from him already.

PayPal will almost certainly see things your way, but if you open a claim expect it to take longer than it would if he just cooperates on his own free will. If eBay gets involved you can really **** in his cheerios.
