FUСK YES.

Finally got off my *** and put together a Core i3 machine with 6 GB running Win 7-64 to replace my 32 bit Core2 XP machine at work.

The biggest problem was that after Harris Corporation's IS dept took away all of our local admin rights, I was forced to virtualize my "standard client" OS into a VMware machine, and re-format the physical machine running a vanilla XP build, with the virtualized SC build running inside it. I only ever needed the SC for the purpose of running Outlook (since the domain password is a more closely guarded secret than the German Enigma codes during WWII), but it was still a huge resource hog. Damn thing was swap-bound pretty much all the time.

I'll say this for Harris' IS department- they're so blinded by their quest for "security" that they're driving their own users towards the most insecure configurations possible. I can't imagine that I'm the only one who finally said "fuсk this," gave up trying to use the company-provided machines entirely, and instead connected a completely insecure, third-party system to the corporate network. This is what happens when you lose track of the fact that the primary purpose of supplying computers to people is so that they can use them to do PRODUCTIVE WORK.

^ That reminds me of Nabors IT department. I am doing basic MS Office work through what appears to be a remote desktop running on a server. I lose connection every hour or so, so I have to save often. It gets laggy sometimes, so when I'm scrolling through the company-wide public drive, I've managed to accidentally move a folder into another folder. There is no way in hell I'm going back to find what I moved.

----! Goddamn ghetto *** top. I have safety pins holding the edging around the driver door to the rest of the top so it doesn't flap in the wind. Apparently two of them came open, and when jumping into my car after work, while running from someone, I drug my arm down them. I'm becoming more accident prone the older I get. I'm used to being cut while working on the car, but not getting in it to leave work.

Why the hell were you "running from someone"?

And safety pins? Really?

I was trying to be a dick to a co-worker and stole something and was going to jump in my car and drive off and throw it out the window as I passed by on the road. So I guess it was instant karma.

Yeah, safety pins. I'm a lazy ---- and don't feel like pulling out the sewing kit to stitch it up, like the other side. It would take all of 5 minutes to do. The safety pins usually tuck under the lip and can barely be seen though, so it works.

You know, I injure myself in the most retarded, fucked up ways. It's never a reasonable injury, or something that even makes sense.

I have a Brook Brothers polo. Possibly my favorite, best-fitting shirt.

Yes. I decided it is.

I also own a Star Wars tie.

Did you have to pay for both sessions, or was the morning a freebie?

Joe, I've never actually paid for sex. Bartered, sure, but then again what guy hasn't bought a woman a drink?

I know you're a virgin, but it's a big world out there and I'm sure there's a girl that would find your electric bike, Hawaiian shirts and cheese addiction interesting. She might even let you touch her honey pot -- imagine that.
