How (and why) to Ramble on your goat sideways
It's typical to not to wear eye protection for that style of shooting, although they often at least make kids wear it. You'll note that they're all shooting air rifles which have a reduced incidence of back splatter. That being said, most small bore (.22) competitors go without too. I shot competitively from age 12 through college, both smallbore and air, and still have my eyes. Watch the 5 min of televised Olympic shooting and count the number of people wearing eye pro.
It works fine on my HTC One and Nexus 7.

It comes across to me that they really don't give a **** that they have the Olympics there. They have had all of this time to prepare things, and it looks like almost nothing is ready. Everything is still dirty and trashy, some of the courses aren't even finished yet, 2 days out, and the water thing... way to give a **** mother Russia. And apparently, they are $51 billion in on the preparations, and it still looks like ****, and isn't even close to ready. Hell, they virtually built a new town within Beijing for the Olympics there. All they had to do in Sochi was spruce it up a bit, and pile some snow into ramps. Granted, comparing Beijing/China's economy with Russia or any Russian city isn't exactly fair.
who thought holding any big event in russia would be a good idea? someone who is not aware of bread lines it seems.
Have you heard that everyone is getting hacked too?
Richard Engel: Sochi 'Open Hunting Season' for Hackers - NBC News
Yes, Russians are all inherently hackers.
Do people not know that it is not a free country? Bringing their personal info cell phones into the country? Hello?!
You can’t bring anything you work on under the assumption that your hotel room isn't bugged, etc.

Well, that is what surprised me initially. Olympics... in Russia? Why? That aside, since they somehow managed to get the gig, at least ******* try and do it right and not make yourself look any worse than you already do.
I'm looking forward to the summer games, Sudan 2020...
Oh, and I'm feeling pretty uneasy about the terrorist threat in Sochi. They already had that rail station bombing last month or whenever it was. I've seen where US intelligence says there is a high likelihood for an attack of some kind during the games.
