400hp is nothing special for a civic, but good for a D series

Im not too impressed with that AWD system, even for a road race car I question whether it would be worth the weight

I don't have the energy to read the whole thread at honda-tech, but the first page indicates that they were running stock bottom end parts at 400 hp. I gotta figure our bottom end wouldn't make a pull to 400 before bending a rod.

Soooo they are selling it, hopefully with a new clutch. ???

I like it a lot. I'm very happy they didn't have some stupid background music in that video too.

EDIT: OH and yeah, 2x psi with a 2871 on a stock bottom end FTW.

EDIT 2: scca ad says wiseco pistons & eagle rods & arp head studs. There ya go. "It is running 17lbs of boost on 93 octane and getting 30 mpg and getting 320hp". Good but not great with 17lbs.

EDIT 3: for the price he's asking I'd get a bugeye WRX. Being unique is overrated.

LOL at "buttsexing" at the end. It looks like it has a shitty suspension just like every other Civic judging by the way it bounces like a little rubber ball. Accelerates well in a straight line on flat ground.

theres no way theyre making 400hp on a stock bottom end, its impossible.
A d16 can only take like 250hp before it breaks rods.

Im pretty sure it listed pistons and rods in there somewhere...

Wow... A high horsepower Honda that doesn't peg the rev limiter everytime you hit the gas. Not bad.

Fail at the end! Why do AWD people always have footage of them 'trying' to drift in a big a loop? I don't see Ken Block anywhere.

Apparently this is the sickest single cam ever. Damn another fail!

i call fake on that crx video. plus the guy doesn't appear to have shifted or hit the accelerator and the background moves at an odd pace once the car goes into warp speed.

also who makes a video public then posts this:

THIS IS MY VIDEO & MY CAR....IF YOU STEAL THIS VIDEO YOU WILL BE CAUGHT, AND YOU WILL NOT LIKE WHAT HAPPENEDS!!!! DO NOT STEAL THIS VIDEO

I think the CRX video is legit. Based on the speed of oncoming traffic and the on ramp vehicles like.
