omg...

If one thermostat is good, then 2 has to be twice as good!
Edit: actually, there are people that run 2 thermostats, but one of them is to bypass the heater core, not like he has it. |
18psi won that thread.

2 thermostats = DOUBLE THE COOLING!!1!2@
Also, Inline fuel pumps can explode like grenades, a boost controler can lower the boost below what the wastegate is rated at, and 4" charge pipes are perfect for a 1.8L engine. Hyper sure is an innovator, I wish I had  |

My honest opinion is that you are dumber than a thermostat - 18psi |

Perhaps someone more artistic could draw up a diagram with my suggestion.

Brain was able to illustrate exactly what I was thinking. Some sort of homo mind link.

Obviously Heffer is a moron, but in light of the recently-ish deiscovered difference in the 01+ head gasket, I have actually been thinking about running 2 t-stats figuring that the one in the hotter area will do the primart work and the second one will only open when *ish gets really hot. See, I now suspect that with the 01+ HG and a re-route, the front of the head has the potential of getting too hot because of low-flow volume, so by adding a t-stat to the original location and plumbing it into the upper rad hose, all will be OK. My worry is that since the temp gauge is on the re-route spacer, it won't tell me if the front of the engine is running hot :(
At least I feel better in my theory over what Fagstick is doing. |
