Seems legit....

I watched that documentary he is talking about, and it was very good and informative.... but WHY is he talking about it? i read the post he was responding to, and it seems fairly unrelated... Seems like he bounces around questions and topics, without any real answers to anything. lol

I don't see what's so funny. I'm developing a damascus steel manifold. It will hold 8000 PSI and deflect bullets.

To be honest, this thread is full of fail. Why rehash fail?

but he kept the thermostat in front. He doesn't like putting the stat back there with a different outlet...it adds a failure point.

Nah man he got rid of the front "water mixing manifold". Now its just a straight pipe to the readiator.

Braineack Aug 13, 2013 08:50 AM

That's not what he currently describes, and he still posts his pics of the front outlet coupler device holy grail thing.

His last pics were with it removed.

i bypassed the water mixing manifold.
idk if that's good or bad

Braineack Aug 13, 2013 09:08 AM

okay, so now he just does pretty much what we all told him to do from the start? the only difference being that he makes sure to pass the cooling directly alongside the hottest radiating part of the engine bay to ensure the heat from the turbine/manifold gets absorbed into the cooling system.

triple88a Aug 13, 2013 09:20 AM

Not exactly, you see that large 3/4" pipe that goes from the end of the cold main back to the water pump inlet?

His argument is that bypassing the rest of the block is somehow good for it because cold coolant is flowing to the water pump.

Braineack Aug 13, 2013 09:34 AM

I mean, that's pointless and trivial. All in all, he did exactly what we told him and then added some flare.

And here we are stuck with our overheating waterpumps. Because in the time it takes to open the thermostat you don't want your water pump to burn up so clearly you need to keep cold coolant flow to it.

Seems like he just did this for the bling bling factor.
