$40 for R888's shaved to 2/32nds than raced for a weekend. They came from a friend of the manger of the local Midas, and the guy threw in a $20 gift card to put towards mounting and balancing. Hopefully I'll get a few track days out of them, and have a source for future race take offs. And hopefully they're not total crap. They look dirtier than they are, lots of clag and dirt build up.

nice deal. post back how it goes. what size are those - 205 or 225?

SM size, 205-50-15. I noticed my car felt a bit squisher with the current 225-50-15 I have on there right now, partly because they're on 7" rims, but I dealt with it cause A. more grip is more grip, and B. I had already bought them. Hopefully I'll have the money to do a track day soon.

Were those the ones on CL?

Sounds like he may be a good resource for us. Says he has sets come up every few weeks or so. I told him to keep my number.
