Default I could just cry.....(Limerock)

Well I am just now going back to work for good on Monday, so I've been a little more out of the business loop than I ever expected to be. Just showing my brother some of my new car parts today and talking about work, he mentions that we almost had the job at Limerock. I was like, "WTF....what job at Limerock". He and my dad were saying it was the bumps on the side of the track and some inclines, any of the concrete work really.

My dads business partner (Bones) is a old school stock car driver from our famous race arena that was closed down 20 years ago. So naturally he was excited to get the job. Well turns out that the contract requires the work to be done right away. With the economy as bad as it is, and a full schedule ahead of us, we had to pass it on to our "other" concrete guy that is a good friend. He of course was happy as **** to get the job. We just cant tell our regular builders, "aaa....ok guys we'll be back in 2 weeks to work on your job". lol

I'm gonna see if I can talk with Dave and see if he needs any extra help and that I would love to be a part of it. I've worked on alot of crazy job sites.....but never a racetrack.

Here's the full story, looks like a huge job for the paving guys. Check out the construction gallery and take a look at the last picture, #52. I bet I would have been the guy to float the bumps. I'm pretty bummed about this.....
