He's so damn spoiled. When he wants a drink, he will go to his water bowl and take one drink. If it's an hour or two old, he will then just turn around and stare at me until I get him fresh water. Either that, or he goes and stands next to the tub so I can turn on the water and let him drink from the spout.

If we are outside, he will walk past his bowl and go and stand next to the water spigot, looking over his shoulder and wait for me to turn it on so he can drink running water.

That said, he has no problem drinking from the pond while swimming. Who knows that that tastes like.

We're talking about a Chihuahua here. She can't even see the top of the bowl, much less have any idea what's in it. She follows me everywhere, and I do give her plenty of lovin' (we're at that stage where as soon as I walk into the house she immediately falls down onto her back with all four in the air, expecting a vigorous belly rub- she doesn't do that for anyone else) but I take umbrage to the way she looks at me with her head tilted when I'm urinating.

The long-haired one on the left is Lexi, who is the culprit.

Here she is in belly-rub mode:

Trouble is, she's sometimes in there already by the time I go in, and I don't notice her until I'm mid-stream. Anytime the two Boston Terriers are in the house, Lexi hides in the bathroom and Cedi chills under the kitchen table.

I live in the country, so when I am filthy from working on the car and need a ****, I just go outside to the nearest tree. My two Jack Russel's always watch, which doesn't really bother me. But one day while I was pee'ing on the lemon tree, the male dog cocked his leg and peeed on my boot, not cool.

I have two 100 lb labs. The male always overpees the female's spot.

I also live in the country so outdoor pissing is the norm. My male will overpee my spots, too.

When I know i'm going to bomb out the b-room...i'll leave the door cracked because I knew the cats will com running. I'll wait to drop the cargo until they come in and I close the door. Just want to give them a sample of what it's like when I have to change their boxes. One of the cats will usually start pawing the door and making noise to want to get out.....payback It's not that she doesn't like being in the bathroom, she sits in there when I take showers in the morning....and sometimes she gets on the edge of the tub in front of the shower curtain and i'll knock her into the shower buahahah. I love watching cats with wet feet trying to walk.

I started leaving the toilet seat down not because of the wife's bitching at me for leaving it up, but to prevent the dog from drinking out of it. It's not so much that I mind him drinking from there, but it seems like he slobbers more water on the floor than he gets in his mouth, and that creates a slip hazard.

The in-laws had a great dane that would stand by the kitchen sink when he wanted a drink. With all four on the ground he could reach up over the counter and drink from the faucet. Those dogs are damn tall.
