I love my car (track day pics and short vid)

Mostly because I can drive it seven hours to the track, beat the absolute piss out of it for two days (~160 minutes on track) than pick up and drive it back another seven hours without a hiccup. In the mean time I got to beat up on cars that are a lot more expensive then mine without even really trying (didn't even put on the R-compounds and had ~200 pounds of dead weight in the passenger seat each session).

Unfortunately I don't have too many good pictures.

For those of you who don't know much about my car it's a '95 with basic suspension mods, a rollbar, 225 hankook rs-2s on 15x8 6ul's, hawk blue brake pads and a diy turbo set-up. I can't believe how capable (and reliable) the car is for how little of an investment I have into it. The car is definitely a lot faster than I can drive it, that is for sure.

If you actually go to the youtube site I think you can watch the video in a little bit higher quality.

I like the Hankooks quite a bit. This was my third track day on them and they have a couple thousand road miles on them too. I don't have too much experience with other tires so it's hard for me to compare them. I have been very pleased with their performance and how they've held up. At the same time I have quite the itching to get some NT01's and really start putting the hurtin' on some cars.

That is Gateway International Raceway outside of St. Louis. It's the second ROVAL (road course/oval) I've done and they're very fun. There's nothing quite like staring at a big cement wall coming out of the banked turn at over 100 mph (about 1:09 in the video).

wow man VERY NICE.......having done my fair share of drag racing this looks SOOOO much fun

I like rovals. I've run Las Vegas, Charlotte, Daytona and Rockingham. There's something cool about running on the high bank even if you're only touching 130mph. Though of all the rovals Rockingham was the best. It was so tight (short) that you could actually pull enough Gs on the high bank turn to where you seriously considered how hard you'd hit the wall if you broke loose. I ran double enduro weekend there and when I woke up Sunday my neck was sore from Saturday's race. Yep - hold the noggin and helmet up while fighting all the bumps and Gs on the high bank was a work out.

Sweet ride.
Looks like a lot of fun!
Any pictures of it sitting still? I want to see the rims.

I don't have any real good pictures of it sitting still. Here's one but you can't see the wheels too well. They're 15x8 949 Racing 6ul's.

M2, I hear you about the rovals. This is the second one I've been to and they're quite fun. When exiting one of those banked turns at 100+ mph pulling high G forces it has crossed my mind more than once that if something breaks or goes wrong in the front right I'll probably be meeting my maker.
