Well, you gotta want to quit to do it. You have any kids? You'll probably want to be around to see them graduate school, maybe college, things like that.

Smoking was one of the few things I enjoyed in life. In college and grad school, whenever I was stressed, it was the first thing to pop in my head. Parliaments and Mild 7s were my brand. I still get cravings after 3 years of not smoking (haven't touched one since after grad school).

Told you that substituting wasn't the way to go. You don't enjoy smoking, you just think you do. It's a way for you to justify it.

You've only got two choices. Continue to smoke and it will kill you, or quit. Seems simple.

I love when people make a big production about how they quit, and cant even keep it together for a week...******* lame. Next time try making it more than a ******* hour before you blah blah blah us and 3 days later say "I just really enjoy smoking".

If your serious about quitting, you'll quit. And I guarantee after a couple weeks you'll think "wow...I'm so happy I quit". If your a ******* toolbag you'll keep smoking away like a loser.

I even stopped hanging out with a couple friends that smoked heavily since I quit. It made me realize, my god what ******* losers I am with right now. I will always smoke pot, but cigarettes never again. I am actually so against cigarettes since I quit, I am in the process of figuring out a way to do something positive for youths to stop them before they start. My Nieces and Nephews all know that I'll kick their asses if they even try.

Well maybe you can do a campaign where you get the kids to trade in their tobacco for pot? Brilliant.

Ok dick. Pot is fine when used occasionally and responsibly.

Cigarettes have some much garbage in them and do nothing but ******* destroy your insides. *Most* people start smoking at a young age through influence. My thoughts were to somehow try and reach the youth about how its really not cool to smoke and give them a perspective from someone that's not 40 years old or their parent. This is something I really want to follow through with and maybe do some good. Cigarettes have no positives what so ever.

Give it a couple years, pot will be legal. Cali is the starting point, it will become a nationwide thing soon enough. Pot isn't all that bad, actually alcohol is proven worse. So talk **** on it like a ****, and I'll keep smoking it. It is one subject I know alot about, for many reasons.

I'm curious to know. How many members on this forum toke up? Not like once in your life, but buy it and smoke it regularly.

I'm a dick and a ****? I'll take that over being a dope smoking retard. I think you should shut up until you actually follow through and do something. You go an influence some kids not to smoke, you'll be a hero.

lol....

I love how ignorant people consider pot smokers "dope smokers" or "retards", when people that are alcoholic's are much, much worse off. Yea maybe I should give up pot and start smoking cigarettes again and drinking alcohol daily, at least society accepts that....right. Everyone is different I guess...

I was thinking of having something to do with the truth.com commercials. I always hated them when I smoked, and now I'm like damn...why didn't I get it before.

You being a retard probably has little to do with smoking pot. In fact, if I were a stoner I'd be pissed at you for making the rest of us look bad.

But you smoke pot and think that's cool. Maybe one day you'll look back and think "damn...why didn't I get it before".
