Default Its really friggin cold; need a sock for my ****.

So its like 20F outside, or for those that dont leave their house, really ******* cold.

I have a alum voodoo **** in my car, and it gets really really cold, so cold that the bones in my hand start to hurt.

Anyone sell a cover for it of some sort?

I am about to take one of my old wool socks, cut off the toe portion stitch up an elastic band and just throw that on it till the winter is over.

First item UP from the bottom... it looks flexible enough you could wrap it around the shifter. Take the element and the **** to a leather shop and have them sew you up a cover. If you've got a Voodoo Magnum, it's gonna be real big, but a regular Voodoo with the insert and cover should still be a fine fit for your hand.
Heated Handlebar Grips

I'll tell you what though, I just did a little Google searching and this idea has come up on several forums... and idea just waiting for somebody to capitalize on it.

Srysly? What are you doing, resting your hand on it while you drive? There is a simple solution for this, TAKE YOUR HAND OFF THE GODDAMN SHIFT **** WHEN YOU'RE NOT SHIFTING! duh.

lol

Or ask your gf to sit on said cold shift **** and take video for us to watch.

One of the Miata aftermarket dealers used to sell Kangaroo ******* sacks to cover your shift **** a few years back. It was advertised as a way to keep the sun off of it so it wouldn't burn your hand.

I'm not making this **** up. The running joke was "wonder if it has hair on it?"

I took this at the Fort Myers zoo about 2 years ago... thought it was one of the funniest things I'd ever seen. The photo is completely unaltered... yup, that's what they look like.

I dont live in a place where my house and my destination is connected by a highway. I live in NY, where there are lights and stop signs. I have to shift constantly and even not resting my hand on the shifter is cold.

I can't believe nobody mentioned the Knobmeister, a.k.a. Joe Portas. He makes custom Miata **** socks with your choice of embroidered logos. I bought one several years ago for my first Miata. Then I called him when I bought my current Miata, in a different color, and he offered to give me a new **** sock for free because the original color scheme no longer matched. Very impressive customer service!!

KnobGloves

My only critique of the cover is that it's kind of a loose fit over the normal-sized aluminum Voodoo ****. Maybe it's possible to design an elastic opening of some sort that squeezes tight over the **** .... ha!!!!! I know .... but anyway I'm basically happy with the product.

I'll take a picture some other time, maybe tomorrow morning if I remember. Not going out to my car right now.

Damn, it's 81*F today.

I could've sworn that most New Yorkers lived here in the winter.

I found the **** cover you were looking for:

It's not embroidered, but you could write your name on it with a Sharpie.
