Gotta love those MKIV owners with their first boosted cars.

Another reason why FMIC is innefecient :gay:

kotomile 09-24-2007 01:23 AM

roflcopter.

hope I don't start sucking water in through my intercooler.

cjernigan 09-24-2007 01:26 AM

hahaha This is my favorite part, besides the guy saying he covers his IC.

I actually met a guy with an N/A eclipse that had an IC hooked up to his intake because he thought it would do something for him.

kotomile 09-24-2007 01:33 AM

someone actually argued with me once that I should get an FMIC for my car to lower the intake temps (had a n/a Honda at the time). Ricers these days..

magnamx-5 09-24-2007 07:12 AM

 yeah fucking ricers and stupid people is it me or are they getting worse.

soflarick 09-24-2007 07:15 AM

It's about the same. You're just getting older and wiser.

soflarick 09-24-2007 07:20 AM

Nevermind. I just read that thread. We're doomed.

Ben 09-24-2007 07:54 AM

Putting a bag around your intercooler when it rains is just plain stupid. It's much easier to saran wrap it to keep the water out. Duh. That's what I do.

lol even my wife is shaking her head at this....:gay:

Newbsauce 09-24-2007 09:31 AM

I don't need an intercooler with PC Pro so I do not worry about rain or water. PC Pro was born waterproof and allows me to drive my car submerged in the ocean.

Braineack 09-24-2007 09:36 AM

I poured sand in my intake to polish the intake manifold, now it wont start.

a miata buddy of mine wanted my old intercooler for his na miata. i just said no. I didn't have the heart to explain to him how stupid he was. Besides, he wouldn't have understood what I was trying to tell him anyway.

someone archive this so every time someone comes up with the next dumbest post we can link them to this thread and tell them to read it and see what happens :gay:
i dont know if i should laugh or cry, it kind of hurts my head to think that the guy was actually serious...he said "i know how it works, i just wasnt sure if it could suck up water....uh duh duhrer" WTF, yea im laughing.

lets just say this, if an intercooler had some sort of opening on it that would make it possible to suck up anything, why would it be smoking??? wouldnt it, since it is sucked up, be inside the intercooler/charge pipe and then motor, why would it smoke from engine bay? seriously, i need some help, im trying to figure out a way to harvest and sell common sense, man if i did that, Bill gates would envy me...$$$$$$$

first you'd need a way to convince people they need common sense. have fun with that. maybe if you did an infomercial. it slices, it dices...

The dude with the 12k+ posts has a whacked sense of humor, too bad the rest of the thread doesn't realize it.

spiking the interest is what i do best, so no problem there, im a salesman :td:
selling it would be easy, you start of with celebrities :gay: and then you cater to the masses for a lot cheaper once you made millions of of dumb celebs...
the hardest part is actually harvesting the common sense and planting it into the dumb people...thats the part i cant figure out
Spike-he has a eBOV on it :gay:

1redcanuck 09-24-2007 06:12 PM

Even the directional tires appear to be mounted ass backwards. The likely help him doing donuts with front wheel drive.

magnamx-5 09-24-2007 08:21 PM

Uh red canuck those tires are mounted correctly on the AF car pictured above.
