With a 19% correction factor, that is....

+2 psi on a 2560 is obviously worth 50 whp

Somebody PLEASE call him out on this.

Can somebody explain to a noob why the stock MSM is reaching its peek HP at 5734rpm?

The pistons in the stock MSM are also a 9.5:1 compression. The rev limit on MSM's is also a sucky 6500 RPM.

im surprised he mentioned something about the correctiopn factor being a "bit" optimistic...he actually came out and said it should be more like 10-11%, not 19-20%, but still uses 19% in his numbers...how come there not more dissapointed customers?

I've always made the assumption that correction factors were more for naturally aspirated cars that didn't have an air compressor attached to it. Aside from off boost torque and positive pressure threshold, 12 psi is 12psi if you're on a mountain or New Orleans, right?

no--that's not true at all.

Absolute pressure is absolute pressure, so at higher altitude it would take more boost to have the same PA as at lower altitude.

ok, so 12psi in the intercooler pipes on a mountain is less pressure than 12psi in a pipe at sea level?

Don't be a douche.

You may have +12 psi over atmospheric in the pipes, but what is atmospheric? Look at ABSOLUTE PRESSURE, which is inversely related to altitude.

Yep. B/c MAP = barometric + boost pressure and barometric is higher on the mountain.

Well it will be interesting to see if this person posts some time slips, that much power should have the car trapping an easy 115 MPH.

They won't get called out, they have no one to call them out. They simply **** out numbers and Jeremy thinks he's the next Shiv Pathak.
