Those early Lexus were sweet. Built to a real high standard, top-notch materials, like Mercedes were years ago. One friend got over 500K miles on an LS400, another has a SC300 5-speed with over 300K - no rebuilds or major work, just clutch and brakes and misc maintenance. He swears it doesn't burn oil between changes - just really good motors. I'll bet that turbo motor will last, so long as the owner doesn't fuck it up.

I'd rock that car... but I'm in the market for something more "original" at the moment. Like the 4x4 bel-aire on ebay. If only I had already sold the wifes car and my trombone I'd be driving that beast at the end of the week.
