Repost x100

As I stated last time, if I recall correctly from an RX7 forum, the guy used too short of studs with a wheel spacer and they didn't hold up.

As I recall, the first time I saw this is was on a set of 100 stone tablets.

That **** almost happened to me last weekend...I had installed new springs and was checking the ride height and only putting on two lug nuts each time....when i was finally done I forgot to torque or added the other two on each side and went for a spin around the block. I made the first turn onto the main road and knew I fucked up, had to run back to the house for my torque wrench and lug nuts. Whoops.

This one is so unbelievably ancient that it probably pre-dates most of y'all being on the internet (and it certainly predates Youtube by nearly a decade). So it might not be new, but it's new to you!

That **** was funny as hell in college.

I thought it was the wrong thread pitch. The driver, IIRC, was at least semi-experienced enough to know to torque them. However, when he launch, the lugnuts unthreaded b/c they seemed to go on...but weren't the right fitment.

Also, from what I recall, he bought them and was given the incorrect ones. They appeared to be correct and seemed to go on correctly.

Another oldie but goodie. Hopefully at least some of you have seen this one:

I remember seeing that back in '96. It was on Usenet in about a thousand different pieces, if I recall correctly. Took several days to transfer it all off of the VAX 11/780 that we used to download it.
