I'm almost there .....
At last!
I have been running around with my basic setup with only a little boost (only 5psi) as I was chewing thru the std clutch but had to wait for some more $$$ before moving forward. But this afternoon the new clutch is in (along with new timing belt, water pump etc etc) and its off for a dyno tune and 12psi :) :) :) Im hoping to hit 230 rwhp. Of course - its pissing down with rain so no chance to go for a play - bugger! Ill keep you posted on the final figures C |
Let me know where your injector duty cycles end up with the 460s at 230rwhp. I'm trying to decide whether I need to ditch them and do 550s if I want to shoot for 250rwhp on 100 octane.

You made it sound like you just got the clutch in today and you're going out to tear up the streets/dyno. I hope you broke in the clutch...
breakin in clutches is for pussies.
So are open wastegate lines
Not everyone drives through the red light district on their way home man.
ummm - how they hell do I break in a clutch?
I believe the general rule is don't shock it (no drag launches or hard shifting, basically drive it nice and easy) for 500 miles or so.
^ Ditto.
Most say 500 miles of stop and go driving for organic clutches, 1000 for kevlar. Then some say breaking them in is unnecessary. I suggest proper break-in. |
fantastic, chris!
i hope the turbo system is holding together well? |
