What size round does that fire?

it's 9mm.
it will shoot 9mm, 380, 45, or 22 with a change of the upper.

Have you SEEN what machine gun prices are doing dude?
in semi auto an M11 is worth 150 bucks, registerred pre 86 in full it's worth 3k or more. Prices keep going up and this is all I can afford. In the future I might not be able to afford anything.

Second there's a new slowfire upper www.max-11.com that makes the gun easier to shoot and better, especially with MP5 sights and around 650RPM.

My old man bought a thompson 2 or 3 years ago for 16k, it's worth 24 or 25 already. Insane.

oh i know how much they cost, was just curious why you went with that particular unit. there's a guy around me who deals with nothing but full autos. We managed to get a hard to find 100rd drum for our AK47 from him, a bargain at $300:ugh2: . In africa and other places, with the ak47 all you have to do to make a cheap ak full auto is wire back one of the sears and file down the firing pin to make it sharper. .762 is a whole lot of fun

In Australia no one has guns. Hunters and farmers who own a gun have to keep it under TWO padlocks at all times.

This shit is so wierd for me.

because some countries actually trust their citizens?

I'm not sure I agree with that statement. Trust is one thing... however, having too many unprotected firearms around is not always the most "logical" thing.

I've handled weapons before, but I have to admit, I don't enjoy it, don't see any pleasure in it either.... I've never really understood it either....

But why would you guys trust yourselves more than the rest of the civilized world? You are going to tell me, that just because you can carry weapons, you should? Just because you need to have "enough" fear to have them with you at all times. Sorry, but that's not the quality of life I want.....

Arkmage, it's been a good debate.... I think though, to help with Philip's bloodpressure.... I'll say I'm done. You can keep your NRA card, I'll keep my Peace sign.... and we'll meet somewhere in the middle. <G>

Philip.... I think you need to learn some ways to relax.... it's a debate... it's a difference of opinions.... we are expressing them nicely.... it's a good thing....

Yowch, dude...I'm not even sure what that means, but I can assure you that not all pacifists are homosexuals. And not all those who're gay are pacifists.

C'mon, man, if I'm open-minded enough to realize that not all gun owners are violent rednecks, you can try to understand the other side of this coin, yourself.

there is no "other side of the coin"
what I do, doesn't affect you. That's the end of it.

I'm not saying you can't have your gun(s), dude.

no, there's not. especially when my actions have no direct or indirect impact on you.

there's always one or two on gunbroker, just haven't taken the time to snag one, and I don't have a basement to shoot it in with this house.

It's cool dude... I respect your opinion even if I do disagree with it :) Most of my friends refer to me as a hippy with guns. I'm pretty much anti war/anti-violence... but I do love my guns.

You are obviously a fuckwit. :crx: You have proved through many comments in this thread that you are one. :td:

To the others who are actually stating their opinions and having an argument - If the guy robbing your house doesn't have a gun because it isn't easy to get them, then you don't need one to protect yourself.

Protection is a bad justification to have a gun. I grew up playing with toy guns and would LOVE to shoot at a shooting range and go hunting. I totally agree with my nations choice of ensuring that firearms be locked up when not in use though.

Guns are great when used right.
