Interesting.. HHO Injection
What do you guys think, its a basic system..
http://flapdoodledinghy.com/HHO_generator.html The idea is to use unused power (generated by alternator) to break down electrolyte (80%H20 + 3-4 spoons of NaHCO3 + and 20% of CH3–CO–CH3) to increase gas millage. Electrolyte breaks down into combustible HHO gas that is injected together with fuel. It also has the added benefits of a basic WI system- cleaning up carbon deposits and increasing power as well as reducing emissions. Anyone know anything about it first hand? |

"he idea is to use unused power (generated by alternator)"
The alternator doesn't produce un-used power... it produces a certain voltage and the power is determined by the current draw. This would increase the current draw therefore increasing your engine load. Which would lower your fuel economy. Now, it may (similar to a supercharger with power output) increase your economy by more than it requires to operate... but there isn't "free power" being produced by your alternator that it can just use. |
I remember reading a while back on hydrogen production. I read it takes 4 times more energy to produce the hydrogen the the fuel itself contains.
