no the 3g / exchange compatible version is "rumored to come out" sometime around juneish but that's the first I heard of a "this week".

So I just got a brand new sealed in the box 16GB Touch for $100. Best money I've ever spent! This thing is addictively fun!

How'd you get that deal? Or will the guy you bought it from go to jail if you tell?

The guy that sold it to me had gotten 2 of them for his birthday, and he thought they were both 8gb. So he offered me the sealed one for $100, which was fine with me. Turns out he had opened an 8gb Touch and had been using and loving it. He claims he never even looked at the other box too closely. And he said he didn't want/need anymore storage space, so he sold me the 16gb for $100.

Well, a friend of a friend, but an awesome guy! And I tried to give him $150, but he wouldn't take it.
I'm loving mine too, this thing is great fun. Found out all the DVDs I've bought with the Digital Copy discs included are coming in handy as far as putting movies on it.
Jailbreak may come, but not until I get bored with what I have for now. It seems a lot of people are doing it safely enough now, but still kinda leery of it.
