Once again, references to "the Down's" and "punching babies" are no longer considered edgy or rad, or whatever else one might call it. Offensive does not necessarily equal funny, especially when a phrase has become ubiquitous.

When I read "X makes me want to punch babies"..... It makes me wanna punch babies.

What is that even from? Sounds like something stupid that would have come from Family Guy (the least funny pile of shit show on earth). Yes, once upon a time you could say it makes me want to punch babies.
