Another Miata abomination.
For sale today on M.net 1990 miata v8 conversion with a z3 body kit. Asking 19,500. Can't you just buy a z3 for a whole lot less? Isn't the M roadster about that price? He's proud it dyno'd at 261hp! AAAAGGGHHH. What makes people do this crap? What makes them think it's worth anything?

Who is going to pay $20k for a 17-year-old Miata? Jesus. When will people realize that if you take an almost 20-year-old $3000 car, add $20,000 worth of parts and labor you have a $2950 car.
I don't care if your car is gold plated and comes with ten hot 18-year-old female slaves, you should NEVER price above high blue book, it's not realistic.

A well done V8 conversion can fetch $20k, no problem.
Sorry, may not be your taste, but it looks like he did a damn good job. Car looks great in the photo. I would remove the BMW badge, and figure out why it's only making 260whp, but other than that, that will be a nice toy for someone.

The conversion is done nicely...the body looks cleanly done....BMW badge is odd. The car should make a bit more power but its got a good base.
Worth 19k? idk. But its not a crappy job from the looks of it.

He may have done a good job but why? Who in their right mind builds a kit of a readily available moderately priced car? It's not like z3's are collectable or rare. If you like z3's just buy a z3! Might as well build one that looks like an s2000, Solstice, Sky, or Rx7.
It's a fiberglass kit car he's trying to sell for more than the comparable real thing. I always thought the point of kit cars is to have something that looks more expensive than it is! To have something you couldn't afford otherwise.

It's a v8 conversion which is cool. It only makes modest hp which makes me wonder how well it was really done. It's a wannabe z3 which makes it mega-gay, in my book, and completely ruins the car and it's value. I'd feel like an idiot driving a z3 kit car.
I never expected you guru's and mod's would appreciate the work that went into that car. Guess I'm off base in hammering the guy?
