Hehe. Nice to see someone capitalizing on the idea of a playing card held with a clothespin.

I still own three bikes, but since I moved to Outer Suburbia, my daily commute consists of 3 miles in a car and 60 miles on the Metro North train. It's not conducive to bicycle travel, which makes me sad. :(

I've been tinkering with the idea of doing an EV conversion, but I'm held back at the moment by the absence of a suitable charging outlet in the area where I park my car at night. (And, of course, the lack of a garage in which to perform said conversion.)

if i buy you a turbospoke would you install it and ride it on the streets of NYC?

viperormiata 12-16-2014 01:17 PM

Duck Tales?

I want you to play this at my funeral. Only this.

Nah, I still own the big e-bike which I built when I lived in SoCal.

My problem isn't locomotion, it's the fact that the roads up here simply aren't conducive to cycling. My morning commute is mostly along a rough, narrow 2-lane road with no shoulders which is packed with suburban SUV-and-pickup owners.

It's not like riding in the city where you can weave your way through (and be faster than) the car traffic, or out west where they have bike lanes; up here the infrastructure simply doesn't support cycling.

Besides, I hate two-cycle engines with a burning passion.

viperormiata 12-16-2014 04:59 PM

Lame.

Get this.

Braineack 12-16-2014 05:05 PM

Joe Perez 12-17-2014 11:35 AM
