I still own three bikes, but since I moved to Outer Suburbia, my daily commute consists of 3 miles in a car and 60 miles on the Metro North train. It's not conducive to bicycle travel, which makes me sad. :( I've been tinkering with the idea of doing an EV conversion, but I'm held back at the moment by the absence of a suitable charging outlet in the area where I park my car at night. (And, of course, the lack of a garage in which to perform said conversion.) |

My morning commute is mostly along a rough, narrow 2-lane road with no shoulders which is packed with suburban SUV-and-pickup owners.
