Ok, well maybe not but....

I just got accepted to USUHS, for those who don't know it's the DOD's graduate school program for MD's, nurses, and Psychologists. So I will be leaving for the Navy in July and becoming a commissioned officer. Scary thought, I know.

But for 5 years they pay me to get my Ph.D. in Psychology.

Yes, this sadly means I won't be going to Texas A&M.

I too have thought of joining the military and going through officer school to continue my education but for now have decided against it.

Congrats- that sounds like a pretty good deal to me- but do you still think you'll be interested in psych by the time you're done? ;)

Sweet coming out to MD. Bethesda is silly close and if your not in On Base housing in know exactly where you'll be. I can let you know where the performance shops of the area are, as well as the good drives and shit.
