The title is all that I wanted to say...
I'm just pretty pumped up that's all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. I'm welding in the bung for my lc-1 tomorrow and then going to shred up some drill bits and grinding tips :vash: . I have two holes to cut in stainless for my external w.g. and another hole in stainless for my o2 bung..............!

Use hole saws. 5/8" hole saw for the O2 bung hole. Infinitely cheaper than a 5/8" drill bit too. Sounds strange, but works incredibly well. Cut SLOW and use some WD-40.

Never again will I use drill bits in stainless (for large holes, obviously).

I've actually made exhaust ports/holes in 1/2 inch stainless header flanges with one hole saw and a drill press turning as slow as it will go.

I recommend some spray cutting oil. Comes in an aerosol can and actually sticks to the metal so you're applying far less than standard cutting oil (or WD40). I picked it up at Harbor Freight or Northern tool. Look for it around the pipe threading tools.
