So normally i let the cats outside on the porch and usually they just chill since they're old and overweight.
A few days ago this cat went ahead and got herself a mouse. She actually didn't know what to do once she caught it, she just had it in her mouth as it was squealing like mad. Eventually she dropped it. This cat is cross-eyed and i know has vision problems. You can toss a treat at her and it will land right next to her, but unless she can hear it, smell it, or feel it she'll never find it. Somehow she managed to get the mouse, i'm astounded by this.
Now i'm totally paranoid, she isn't treated for this kind of stuff and i swear she has the taste to kill on her tongue. She will not stop begging to go back outside. Hopefully it blows over in a week or two and she'll forget.

One of my kitties went missing. I didnt fully close the porch door and both cats got out while I was at work. One cat (who has experienced outdoor living) hung around, but Marilyn (who is de-clawed and has lived inside her whole life) was no where to be seen.
