It was the little rubber protective cap from the end of a cheap metal wire frame shelving unit. Shop Rubbermaid Universal End Caps at Lowes.com

Thanks for that Joe. Saw that ending coming (wanted it!) and still enjoyed. Would view again.

I had to take 2 of my boys into the vets on Wednesday to get their yearly shots. Ivan decided it was a good time to take a piss in the cage we put him in the car. Since the seat is at a angle some got onto my passenger seat. I have been airing out the car the past 2 days, but is there anything else I can do to try to get the smell out faster?

They should sell a smaller bottle. But I use this on everything from the cat mishaps to the trash can and anything that smells bad. Also the super dooper stuff. Never used it, never had to. |
Off topic from cat clean up :)
How can I teach my kitty to not scratch at or around her food bowl area? We DO have a huge post for her but its either that or the carpet around the food bowl and we can't seem to break her of habit. (these items are 3ft from each other  ) Starting to think she is actually fussing because it tends to happen (mostly) in the morning when I haven't gotten up yet to feed her hard food. We trim her claws to at least give the carpet a break but she still goes for that area :dunno: Thoughts? |
Put food bowl on a non-carpeted area.

Yes? It's still a cat, just...bigger. My buddy has one thats like 33 lb. It's an indoor cat only. As a breed, they're really active and a lot of people say they should have easy outside access. I'm sure a lot of it is hype or whatever, but i dunno. |
tape a photo of food to the bottom of the food dish, see what happens.
that or get a timed feeder. |

is the scratching post carpet or sisal rope?
Heavy duty sisal? It's pretty tough compared to rope. She shredded a previous cheap sisal rope one in 2 months.

I was just trying to get at the point that if you make your scratching post carpet, then kitty will learn it's ok to scratch carpet.
But sometimes kitties just like to scratch everything. INCLUDING BRAND NEW C&B SOFAS. |
