Had to give mine a couple of slaps last night.. Eli tried to climb on the light pole and knocked it over breaking the bulb and the light cone thing. It fell right on top of where Eko usually sleeps. Luckily she wasnt there otherwise shed be cut up.

The cats never sleep in bed with us much, but we traveled over the weekend and the last two nights all four have slept in bed with us...

So Eko has something in her right eye on the bottom. Also notice the right eye is bigger than the left and the pupil is yellowish when it should be black. Ideas? The brown film appears to be on top.

It looks like she has an infection.
Some of my cats have had similar issues, and eye drops help in most cases.
You should probably take her to the vet though.

The brown spot appears to be on the outside of the eye. On the surface.

The same thing happened to resurrection kitty I posted about a while ago.
The eye is still slightly discolored, but her vision appears to be fine.

Yes, brown film and enlarged pupil. It really freaked me out at first. I thought she had a stroke or something.
I don't remember which drops I used, but it cleared up pretty quickly.
Unfortunately, I don't have any lying around anymore.
Does she tolerate being held on her back?
They were fairly easy to administration when I held her that way.
Pupils went back to normal, but there is still a bit of discoloration.
I haven't noticed any signs of visual impairment.

If i didn't think this was so funny, i would use two separate plates.

NEWARK, N.J. — A New Jersey woman has been charged with animal cruelty after someone posted a video of her throwing a cat out of a third-story window on social media.

Tikeemah Lassiter, 19, was arrested and charged after a video showed her throwing a cat out of a window in Newark.

Newark Public Safety Director Anthony Ambrose said that 19-year-old Tikeemah Lassiter, of Clinton, was arrested and charged on Saturday.

Ambrose says Lassiter was in Newark visiting a relative when she threw the cat out of a window on South Orange Avenue Thursday. A citizen alerted police to the video.

The cat survived the fall and is being treated by the New Jersey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Ambrose says Lassiter also had a warrant for her arrest on a charge that she assaulted a New Jersey Transit police officer.

It wasn’t immediately clear if she had an attorney to comment on her behalf.
