If I charged $20 and hour and cut it out by hand it wouldn't come to 100 bucks.

price dropped to $100??

and not powder coated or polished?

and not even deburred?

large holes questionably round?

I almost want to make a set just like that and post them for sale for $90.

You should, Y8s.

But make them out of cardboard and wood glue.

I would except that my accounts are banned on sight from CR.net from trolling Hyper too much now.

Since his description is crap and there are no photos I'm guessing he made a coolant re-route to go on the exhaust side and go along the valve cover? If so he's an idiot. Lets put rubber coolant lines next to my glowing hot turbo. I don't even have to "touch the iron while it's on" to know that's a bad idea.

^That's exactly what they are... just brackets that bolt to the valve cover bolts and have a large hole in them that you route your coolant hose through.

I'm not a machinist, but I'd say about $2 in materials and 30 seconds on a waterjet... so yeah, $100 makes perfect sense.
