Some people just should not be allowed to drive.

That video makes me angry. I don't care how much of an absent minded *** you are, or if you don't have time to stop for a light. If someone hit me or caused me to hit them, I would be FURIOUS!

I have to say, everyday I think about how 99% of people do not start to think about how dangerous their actions are and how, believe it or not a 2 ton SUV (or civic for that matter) is in fact a huge responsibility. All you have to do is look away for a second and you have killed some one who has a family to support. It is tragic, I firmly believe there should be some sort of IQ or competence test before you can drive. But where I live that would rule out 80% of troopers and sheriff's.

I will admit I ALMOST ran a red light once. I wasn't even being dumb and playing on my phone or messing with the GPS... I was just cruising in the miata and all the sudden I look up and there is a red light. I hit the brakes, locked up the rears for a sec and stopped just before the white line. I was scared shitless. Luckily the guy that had started to go in the street in front of me was actually not being a dumbass and saw me and stopped. Then gave me a "You are ******* stupid" look. Which I totally deserved. That definitely woke me about paying attention.

Every day I commute about 30 miles round trip on some pretty narrow 2 lane roads with 55 and 60mph limits (which most people run 65-70mph) and probably 4 or 5 times one way each day, I see people chatting on the phone, running into oncoming lanes or running wheels off into the dirt and nearly lose it. It just blows my mind how non seriously people take driving. If someone, even in a small car were to come into my lane and hit me at those speeds, I would probably die. That makes me angry as hell. Daily I want to chase people down and stop them like a mad man, but I maintain my temper somehow. Drive your damn car and talk later, or quit playing with the radio, or whatever in the hell you are doing. I hate incompetence on the road.

That's the word I was looking for. People don't take driving seriously enough. They are totally oblivious to how much damage they could do. It really pisses me off.

It absolutely makes my blood boil seeing a woman driving along in her giant SUV by herself, putting on makeup and talking on her cell phone running all off the road and ****. I want to float out of my car and up to her window and reach through and SLAP the **** out of her. Like Sam Jackson says in Die Hard 3, "GET OFF THE GOD DAMN PHONE!" Everybody has such damn important stuff to talk about. The only time I talk on the phone is if someone calls me, which is very rare, and then I keep it down to a very brief several word conversation. If it's important I tell them I will call them back later. I practice what I preach in this case.

My favorite is the one where the car misses the traffic but then hits the light pole!

Someone just posted this one on CR.

This is the reason everything I've read about riding my motorcycle says "If you approach a green light that turns yellow, RUN IT."

Too many ******** out there that drop the hammer at yellow rather than slow/stop for it.

Anyone count how many of them were mommy mobiles? Vans/SUV's seemed pretty prevalent.

This is why I hate driving. There's always going to be people like this, and in bascially any car, especially our little cars, you're pretty fucked if someone t-bones you like what happened in that video. Even the most careful and observant of drivers can get fucked like this.

That **** pisses me off also. It is mainly how selfish all these ************* are. They feel driving is a right, not a privilege. The thing that pisses me off the most is when beeping at these dipshits they look at you like they are doing nothing wrong or sometimes will flip the bird. I generally take that as an invitation to **** with them.
