That's awesome, it's like squirrel crack. I had a wild squirrel get in through a sky light once. I went in with a hockey mask ski gloves and parka because the thing was just running around the room in circles breaking everything and shitting everywhere. Got it out safely though.

Torkel 08-27-2008 03:33 AM

I am not sure how, but that video made my finacee wanting a baby. :dunno: Any chance I can buy that squirrel from you?

Bryce 08-27-2008 01:08 PM

Lol! Do you even have squirrels over there?

chucker 08-27-2008 01:24 PM

Poor doggie is envious....

airbrush1 08-27-2008 06:19 PM

They have squirrels, just different ones.

I want one now, more than before!

Cavalier King Charles spaniels are really odd looking dogs IMO

Torkel 08-28-2008 02:35 AM

Yes, we have them. They are just slightly smaller, like everything else. And they stack they nuts in piles of 10 instead of 12.

Ah metric squirrels, very good.

Man, that thing is growing fast, too bad it can never go back into the wild.

Bryce 08-28-2008 01:21 PM

It could go back to the wild eventually, but my dogs would eat it.

I was in my mom's attic trying to figure out why the A/C quit working. Then I found chewed through wires. Then appeared the SQUIRREL!!!!!
There is no room up there and I was on my belly. I almost fell through her ceiling.
My little brother (The BIG Hunter of the family) got the pellet gun and went up into the attic making fun of me. He came down like a little girl screaming "THAT'S A BIG SQUIRREL!"
When he was yelling, it started heading for the hole it chewed. I kept yelling at it till it ran out.

And even funnier. 15 min later when my little brother was trying to fill the hole, it's head poked back in. He almost fell through the ceiling.

We still laugh about it.

cueball1 08-30-2008 05:03 PM

I checked back on this thread to see if you'd eaten that thing yet? I guess TX is a little to far south and west for that.

Wild animal as a pet FTL. Coons and squirrels are amazingly cute and fun as babies. Destructive as all get out as adults. Kind of like chimps go nuts when they become adults.

Good luck. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones that it never goes berzerk and rips the crap out of everything in the house.

Racoons come on my front porch, momma just chase 'em off with a broom. :D

Hey, they are great fun outside. Not so much in. I know they are racoons. We actually don't have much of a hick accent here in Oregon. You just don't get enough chances in life to say "coon" though. There used to be a restaurant across the street from my Dad's business called Coon's Diner.

If you don't want him to go nuts when he grows up you could always cut his teeny tiny balls off :eek5:

Speaking of which I just saw that film Hard Candy...I will never laugh at one of those jailbait motivational posters again.
