Lost thread on prefab turbo
OK so I'm prepared for some BS and flaming but here goes:
A while back when I was pondering a turbo build, I stumbled across a thread here with a dude that was fabricating turbo kits out of his garage. He had bought some tools like a band saw and pipe bender and was posting updates pretty frequently. It had a huge response from the forum and a pretty uplifting following. I believe it was a basic kit consisting of a turbo, downpipe, manifold and exhaust bits (all V-banded). That was maybe 6-12 months ago.
I know that's not a lot of info to go on.
I cannot find the thread.
Somebody, dare I say, please help?

Yep! That's the one!
I've been installing a DIY Greddy setup on my buddy's NA this past weekend and it piqued my interest. I've always been intimidated by forced induction but I've learned a bunch and I've been tossing the idea around again about turbo-ing either my '14 6 or my 00' NB. Probably the NB, though... it's more expendable.
Thanks again!
