Default man I got a bunch of ****!

Today I decided that I can't live with my Vaio's speakers any longer. At my old house, I had a Klipsch 5.1 system in my office. At my new house, I came in with a broken arm and a broken leg, so I never set a bunch of stuff up. So I decided to look through the closets to find the receiver and speaker package.

And that's when I found a whole bunch of **** that I totally forgot about. 2 mid-end dvd players, 1 high end cd changer, 3 am/fm tuners, an amp, more old hd directv boxes (I already got rid of 3 or 4), 2 Klipsch subs, the mother load of random remotes (maybe 50 ), a wireless G media server, an eclipse 5303R car cd head unit (amazing sq unit, though old now) and 12 disc changer, an eclipse tape head unit, a sony car cd changer, a NIB MTX amp, and an xbox.

*This is just the stuff I forgot I had*

I'm bout to blow craigslist up

I'm interested in the amp too. I also have a 22" samsung 16:10 monitor I don't want. I bought two...and one is just enough.

it's a pretty big MTX 4300x amp, in its box... oddly the birth certificate isn't in the box any longer so I can't tell you actual output from this specific amp, however the specs for the model are
@14V
90 watts x 4 into 4 ohms
165 watts x 4 into 2 ohms
325 watts x 2 into 4 ohms
I'm dissapointed the birth sheet isn't in the box. Actual output is probably 150-170% of 'rated' output. It has your typical compliment of x-overs and junk. All the other docs are in the box.

I bought it from crutchfield a few years back. Never used it
Looks like it was $450 or $500.

Here's a link that shows detailed features and specs

yeah
I actually used to use those things a lot back before HD cable/sat was available everywhere. Even on analog tvs--the difference in pic quality ota digital vs ota analog is astounding, even on a cheap analog tube tv.

As much as I'd love to help you out, I really don't have the time to port anything right now with the semester in full swing. I can work on the motor in spurts when I have time, but porting like I did to Scott's took me about 15hrs total. I just can't do that over a weekend right now.

Do you have any basic speakers in that pile by any chance? I'm redoing my 'Vette's stereo. And I could definitely use the subs.

The only BOV I have to trade is a Chinese knockoff of an HKS and a 2.5" cast pipe with a flange for it, so this may need to be cash instead of a trade.

Yeah maybe FS would have been better in retrospect, however that wasn't my original intention.

Matt, they're home subs. One is downfiring. The other is front firing with a passive radiator that's rear firing. Unfortunately, I just hooked that one up and the driver is making a rattling sound.

However, I also found a Snap On Corvette top removal tool. It's essentially a black 1/4 drive Snap On ratchet with a permant torx bit. Do you need one of those?

Thanks, but I already have one of those top removal tools. It's not a Snap-on, however. I though they were automotive subs; thanks for clearing that up.
