Marketing 101: Help me name a product
A customer of mine sells a specialty plant fertilizer product to a big chain store. He would like to sell it through a different chain store as well but they don't like to carry the same name brands as the first chain store, so it needs a new name.
The original product is a tomato plant fertilizer called "Mater Magic". The new name also needs to reflect that it is a fertilizer for tomato plants. So far I have: Turbo Tomatoes Many Maters Too Many Maters Mucho Maters Mighty Maters Do you creative guys have any useful ideas? |
If it were a potato fertilizer "bodacious tubers" would be your marlin.

Marketing is about determining and learning everything about your target market.
Advertising is how you reach/inspire/communicate to them... Marketing will find out that Black men drink Heineken and should be targeted. Advertisers will use that information and cast black people in Heineken ads. |
