Default me vs 350Z

Dont know much about 350Z but some kid i know just got one and he wants to race me. I say i am going to be running around 230-250hp on stock internals. Do you think i would be able to beat him hes kicking 297hp he says, i dont know if those cars are heavy or light anyone know anything about them. If you do tell me some info on him if i can beat him, if not then im forging my engine lol

that **** is heavy. if he has pre-07 model then he is only at about 240whp. if its 07+ (like mine) then he is at about 265whp or so. either way you will win.

my friend has the brand new HR 350z's it weighs 3160 and all he has removed is the spare tire/jack and just removed the carpeting in the trunk. That car is quick and they have long *** gears (compared to miatas)

350z's do 13.5's at best.... from my knowledge, if you can beat a 13.5 timeslip, you can beat him

You should be able to piledrive that Z.
Most of the people my friends have raced in z's really couldnt drive them.
The 07's are quick cars. I would agree with the 13.5 statement on those. Then again one with I/E raced my buddies mazdaspeed 3 and could only put 1/2 a car on it!

Goodluck with the race and keep it on the backroads. Dont forget to tape it!

lol well im going to have to fab up a turbo kit soon, bec dad only put 2 grand and i have to put in rest, but i have everything, ms, 440cc, godspeed rad, everything, all i need is a turbo, mani, dp, and maybe intercooled. Do you think i can beat him around 7 psi? Because i wont be running an intercooler intil i get the money.
