Wtf.... There has to be an easier more aesthetically pleasing way to drop your intake temps. Looks like someone has too much time, and heat wrapping on their hands. Good luck changing belts if you ever need to.

with all that foam under there I would think it would create a fire hazard and raise the temps he's trying to lower.

I just wonder that the time and cost was put into it. All to achieve the same result as bumping your timing. (Or even a pulley, header, **** even putting a test pipe in or less restrictive exhaust.)

I'll bet that someone could have installed a base turbo kit or SC in the amount of time it took to come up with and install that. I agree with the last poster as well: almost any NA mod would have "unleashed" (ahem) more HP.

Cheers!

you would think an intake isolation box would have been more functional, less likely to catch on fire, more durable, and easier. but wtf do i know.

definately needs more pcpro.

He needs two PC-Pro and a timing controller ... then install a fuel injector in his engine bay to spray fuel to cool all the hoses ...

he could totally gain a few more hps by spraying some of that home depot insulation foam into one of his vacuum lines

Anyone else think that if the aforementioned dipstick would have just lengthened the MAF wires and put the filter right behind the pax. side headlight and made a little cool air box would have made a bit more sense?
